What is it: It is a collaborative short story builder. Each participant will be given the opportunity to contribute 1 sentence to a 3 sentence short story. The seeder starts the process by sending in a command stating that they want to seed a story( something like 'seed'). The next text message they send in will be recorded for the next person who requests to be a builder ( cmd = build). And finally they 2 sentences will be combined and sent to the final contribute called the twister. Once the twister finishes the completed story will be sent back out to the seeder, builder and twister. At that point they each may complement each other by sending a command out with something like the following syntax: s1 b0 (this example would be from the twister who though the seeder did well but didn't like the builder's contribution. There might be a website that contains the profiles of the contributors and the stories they participated in.

Why will people use it: The program is for anyone who is interested in seeing what becomes of a story when they place it in a public space.

When will people use it: If they are alone they I image they would use it when they are bored. If they are in a group they could use it for entertainment ( the identity of the seeder, builders and twister will be anonymous until they register on the site for a profile.

What data will I need: I will need a data base to keep track of the contributions, user profiles, compliments and finally the finished stories.

I'm not sure of a name yet but I've had some silly ideas like 'ghostory'( get it? go-story yea yea ) , 'campfire' or just 'collaborative shorts'. I'd be happy to work with other on this project and am open to fundamental changes to the starter idea, though I should warn you that have no php or database experience, right now at least.
