there is more information available at our fingertips during a walk in the woods than in any computer system, yet people find a walk among trees relaxing and computers frustrating.
UbiComp for Mobile Devices - this class reminds me of the above saying. It was stated by Mark Weiser the father of ubiquitious computing and somehow I find that it has encompassed the meaning of this class in itself. I have seen in my research that people find it way easier to adapt to the useage of a Mobile phone than any other technology found in this century. The last known piece of technology that had taken all quarters of the world by storm was the Television and now it is the Mobile Phone.
I am looking to understand mobile penetration and then extending it to create services that cater to health care, microfinancing, education and so on.
